Hey, I am Jarno (25) from the Netherlands. As a freelance filmmaker I work on films, documentaries, commercials and social content. I am mainly a 1st/2nd AD on bigger sets and a DOP on smaller sets and documentaries.
People hire me for my good sense for authenticity. I notice when someone is not acting naturally or when a scene looks ‘made’. With the right instructions I succeed to make a satisfying scene.

A special skill of mine is working with professional athletes: I have been running hurdles on top-national level myself, so I fully understand the athletes' mind. I can make movement on camera look more entertaining because I know their routines and know what they’re capable of.
I love working in the outdoors. I am expert skier, qualified as C2 alpinist and stoked to bring film gear into the wild.

So, my main focus is on the sports & outdoor scene. However, I have experience working in various industries such as healthcare, the agricultural sector, government agencies and more.
For narrative projects I am interested genre films that are based on historical events.
